I think this dowery system is the thing we want to change .why we are holding this old system as asymbol of our prestige?it will lessens the value of money & it causes unwanted money wasting.

The younger generations are fighting against dowry.there was a recent incident in tamil nadu where a girl refused to marry a boy in the marriage hall because of dowry and she ultimately married one of her distant relatives wh had come to attend the marriae at the fixed time.....

the underlying illness of dowry is expectation...
the less the expectation the less the menace of ....will a father marry of his daughter to a poor or less educated boy if he asks for less dowry...i think no......
