I thing it is crap....I wonder what this AREC research operation is...
Is there any known international research organization study to support this....? Shorting circuits in the brain etc....I doubt whether this is someones delusion

It's quite likely, isn't it? And, if it is really true, then it's another testimony to the mindlessness of modern science and the waywardness of scientific resarch. I've always been with scientific thought and will continue to be but now-a-days I'm very disappointed with the way knowledge is being used by the so-called rational beast.

Thank you very much for this post

I agree with what tbinisht has highlighted. Its true controversies regarding microwave radiations are quite high particularly its health effects. In most cases the benefits predominates.

The study conducted in plant growth using MW water and boiled water should be seen in a different perspective than from the actual experimental condition.

MW radiation puts the molecules having electric dipoles like water to constantly align with the alternating electric field created by the MW beams. this movement of the molecules generates heat which does the actual cooking. Since its penetration power is higher than the conventional heating methods, it cooks food faster.

Coming back to plant exp, one should first of all find as to how long the water was boiled in MW and in CM(conventional method). What would have actually affected the plant growth wouldn't have been the water, but the killing of the microorganisms(Nitrogen fixing bacteria etc.) in MW boiled water as compared to CM.

Remember no living organism can survive in absolute pure conditions. We need O2 for survival. But we surely will die if given 100% pure O2 (doubt it?, ask XMan, he will clarify better). Similarly, if one takes pure water (ie. water that gives absolute conductive resistance to 18.2MOhms, indicating its absolutely pure without any mineral or carbon impurities) will certainly kill any living organism. Bcse all living organism needs certain amount of minerals and other essential nutrients even from plain water(as its an universal solvent). Pure water is a misnomer used in many bottled water(it means its mainly free from disease causing pathogens).

The harmful effects of MW foods mentioned in 1 -10 reasons are very much present in conventional cooking methods(esp Indian cooking methods) also. Does that mean one should quit cooking as well? Toaster has been advised as against MW, but the toasted bread has lots of Free radicals (Free radicals are one among the known causes for cancer, degenerative disorders etc) especially in those regions which are more crunchy when you chew and also in those charred regions of the bread.

Its more or less like escaping from the lions clutches and ending up confronting a tiger.

NB: everything that man has created for his convenience has in one way or the other contributed to the destabilization of the mother nature and thereby affecting us mortals directly or indirectly.

Researches should never be seen as a wholesome experiment, as always its narrow visioned, to enable faster achievement of ones goals. What researches leads to, are to be noted and analysed but not blindly believed. Its only one side of the coin. Conclude only after seeing the other side as well.
                    Regards.

                    Siva Adarsh
