STRAWBERRY DELIGHT
Ingredients
1 recipe basic vanilla icecream
250 gms. strawberries
1 tsp. gelatine (dissolved as shown in intro)
Method
1. Clean and halve the strawberries.
2. Keep 3-4 whole ones for decoration.
3. These, slice into fan shapes as shown earlier.
4. Beat icecream till soft and creamy.
5. Keep the beating dish in a bigger dish filled with icewater.
6. This is to prevent icecream for becoming liquefied.
7. Add gelatine solution, mix well.
8. Use a decorative jelly mould.
9. Pour mixture into moist mould.
10. Sprinkle half the cut strawberries here and there in mixture.
11. Put in freezer to set well.
12. Just before serving:
13. Unmould onto a wide dish.
14. Arrange remaining halved strawberries along rim of icecream.
15. Decorate top with the sliced strawberries.
16. Serve instantly.
Making time: 20 minutes (excluding time for icecream and setting)
