Kheema Biryani
Ingedients:::
Kheema (chichen or mutton or turkey)---------1 lb.
Basmati rice-------------------------------4 cups.
Onions----------------------------2 medium sized.
Oil
Salt
Cinnamon---------------------------------1 stick.
Bay leaf---------------------------------------1.
Cloves--------------------------------------5-6.
Pudina-----------------------------10-15 leaves.
Garam masala--------------------------1 tblespn.
Red chilli powder-----------------------1 tblespn.
Turmeric-------------------------------1 teaspn.
Ginger garlic paste----------------------3 tblespn.
Method:::
Heat the kheema in micro-wave for 10 mins. Check it for first 5 mins. Then add 1/2 spn of garam masala powder, red chilli powder, turmeric, salt,2 spns of ginger garlic paste , mix it well . Put it in a pressure cooker at allow it to go for 1-2 wistles on a medium heat.
Heat the cooker pour oil in it. Then add pudina leaves, cinnamon, bay leaf, 1 chilli and fry for a min, then add the onions and fry until they are done. Then add the ginger garlic paste to it and fry for another minute. Then add the grounded meat or kheema to it and for 2-3 minutes. Then add the rice and fry for another minute. Then add 6 cups of water to it then allow it to give 3 s.
Note::
Instead of water if u add chicken stock then itwould be more delicious.
Instead of cooking biryani in a pressure cooker if u cook it in an electic cooker it would be good. For this u need to put the container of the electric cooker on the stove and cook on a medium heat.
