Kerala Chicken Curry
Ingredients
Chicken - 1 kg
Onion(medium) - 2 nos
Ginger-garlic paste - 2 tsp
Tomato(medium) - 1 no
Green chillies - 2 nos
Chilly powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 2 tsp
Water - 1 cup
Thick coconut milk - 1 1/2 cups
For seasoning:-
Coconut oil - 2 tsp
Small onions(Kunjulli)
(chopped)
Curry leaves
Preparation Method
1)Mix chicken with all the ingredients except coconut milk and cook till chicken
is done.
2)Add coconut milk and heat for 2 mins on a low flame.
3)Heat oil in another pan.
4)Add small onions and when they turn light brown in color, add curry leaves.
5)Add the above to the chicken curry.
