    Grilled Sardines

    1 kg Sardine,
    frozen or fresh,
    cleaned and gutted.
    3 large lemon.
    Bay leaves.
    Olive oil
    Juice of one lemon.
    Sea salt.
    Preparation
    You will require wooden skewers
    to grill the fish. Soak them to
    prevent from burning.

    Wash and dry sardines, and then
    skewer them with slices of lemon
    and bay leaves in between. Baste
    with olive oil.

    Grill under a preheated grill or
    on a coal grill for about 3 mnts
    on each side. Scatter with sea
    salt, drizzle with lemon juice
    and serve immediately with fresh
    crispy bread and salad.
