Coconut Rice: Ithu naadan "thenga chor" ennu parayunna oru vibhavamaanu.
Ingredients:
Rice - 2 cup
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Cardamom - 2
Grambu - 4
KaruvaPatta - 1 cheriya kashanam
Jathi patrhi - 1 cheriya kashanam
Perumjeerakam - 1 tsp
Black pepper - 4 count
Coconut milk - made out of 1/2 coconut
Take all the spices and make them into powder.Boil the coconut milk in a big vessel. add the powdered spices and turmeric powder to it.Add black pepper also.Once the coconut milk starts boiling, add rice and mix well. Add 2 cups of water and salt to taste and boil till the rice get cooked. Tenga chor is ready.
You can make this with basmati rice or ordianry rice. have it with some parippu curry and chicken,mutton or beef curry.
