    Shanghai Chicken

    SHANGHAI CHICKEN

    Ingredients


    Garlic 1 tsp.
    Onion ½ cup
    Spring Onion ½ cup
    Chicken 1 cup
    Cashewnut 1 tbsp.
    Corn flour 1 tsp.
    Oil For deep fry
    Sugar To taste
    Salt To Taste
    Vinegar Few drops
    Green Chilly 2 to 3 nos.
    Tomato Sauce 3 tsp.
    Soya Sauce

    Preparation

    Mix the chicken with little salt, egg, and corn flour. Mix it well and deep-fry it in oil one by one. When it turns to golden brown, drain and remove. In a pan add little oil and chopped garlic, chopped onions, green chilly and cashew nuts sauté it well till the onions turn brown. When fried well add salt, sugar and vinegar. Add soya sauce, tomato sauce with a teaspoon of water. When the sauce is cooked add the fried chicken and spring onions. Serve it hot with any fried rice.

    yummy..i had this dish a couple of times...it is pretty good..but it is bad for your health I heard..thnx anyways for the recipe aswathy!!!
