CARAMEL APPLES
Ingredients
Apples (medium sized) - 10
Candy sprinkles - 1 cup
Alpenliebe toffee - 15
Milk - quarter cup
Ice-cream sticks - 10
Method: Line baking dish with grease proof paper. Insert ice-cream stick into stem ends of apples. Place candy sprinkles in bowl. Set aside. Place the Alepenliebe toffee in a heat proof glass bowl with milk. Microwave on high, stirring, until toffee melts and becomes smooth. Dip each apple into the caramel; scrape off excess; immediately dip into candies, coating bottom and two-thirds up sides. Place on baking sheet and refrigerate till set, about 20 minutes.
