NOMBU KANJI(Jeera Kanji)
Ingredients:
Broken rice - 1/2 cup
Cherupayar - 1/4 cup
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Green chilli - 3 nos
Grated coconut 1/3 cup
Jeerakam - 2 tsp
Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
Preparation:
1. Boil Rice and cherupayar in cooker with 5 cups of water.
2. Grind coconut+jeera+turmeric powder+ pepper.
3. Fry oil in pan. Add the ginger garlic paste and the green chilli.Add the bloiled rice to it. Mix well. Add the ground coconut and salt to taste. Add 1/2 more cup of water and boil.
