cashew cake
Ingredients:
2 cup all purpose flour
1 cup milk
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup cashewnuts
2 ts baking powder
1 egg
1 ts nutmeg
Directions:.
Mix the flour, sugar ,baking powder with butter until the mixture resembles like fine breadcrumbs.Press half the mixture into a well greased baking pan.Beat the egg in a mixer add milk and nutmeg and mix well with the remaining sugar and flour mixture. Then pour the batter into the pan on top of pressed in mixture. Sprinkle the cashewnuts on top. Bake it in preheated oven at 350F for about 1 hour. Set on a wire rack to cool.
