CHOCOLATE CAKE
Ingredients:
Flour (Maida) - 3 cups
Cocoa Powder - 2 tbsp
Melted Dark Chocolate - ? cup
Sugar (powdered) - 1 ? cups
Sunflower oil - ? cup
Cold Water - 1 ? cups
Egg yolk - 6 eggs
Egg white - 6 eggs
Baking Powder - 2 tsp
Salt - small pinch
Method:
Pre-heat the oven (365 degrees F)
Grease a 20cm cake tin and dust with flour
Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder and salt for 2-3 times.
Put all of them in a mixing bowl. Make a well in the middle of the flour mix and add the oil, cold water, egg yolks and melted chocolate. Beat them well in the cake mixer until you get a smooth batter
Beat the egg whites well in a separate bowl. Make sure that there are no egg white left at the bottom of the bowl. Add the beaten egg whites little by little to the batter and mix it slowly with your hands (this is not to break the bubbles of the beaten egg whites). The egg whites should be completely folded into the mixture.
Now pour the whole batter to the greased tin and bake for 50-60 minutes at 365 degrees (F)
