PULINKARRY
Ingredients:
Brinjal/Drum stick/Vendakka/Padavalanga(any one of them) - 1 cup
Small onion: 1/4 cup
Big onion - 1 cut into small pieces
Tomato - 1
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder 2tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Garlic - 4 alli cut into small pieces
Tamarind - oru cheriya kashnam pizhinjathu
Uluva - 1/2 tsp
Kaduku - 1/2 tsp
Fry oil in a pan. Add kaduku and uluva.Add garlic pieces. When the garlic becomes light brown, add onions and fry for 2 minutes.Then add the vegtable and tomato and fry for another 2 minutes.Then add all the powders and saute well for 3 minutes.Add the tamarind water, 2 cups of water and boil for 5 minutes.
Vathalkuzhambu is ready.
