LIME PICKLE WITHOUT OIL
Ripe, yellow colour lemons - 25
garlic flakes ( opeionsl 1/4 cup)
green chillies (optional 7 Nos)
salt as required
red chilli pwder 1/2 cup ( can add more)
kaduku 2 tablespoon ( dry roasted)
methi seeds 1 teaspoon ( dry roasted)
wash and dry lemon. ( not a single drop of water should be on the lemon)
cut 20 Nos of lemon into small or medium pieces. In a driy bottle fill lemon, garlic flakes, green chillies layer by layer with salt. and lemon juice taken from the remaining 5 lemons Leave it for 10 to 15 days, shaking it once in every 2 days ( without opening it)
after 10 days add chilli pwder and the methi, mustard pwder, shake well and keep it for another 10 days. Now your pickle is ready to use. As I said earlier , you don't have to keep it in the fridge and is good for health because there is not a single drop of oil in it.
