CAULIFLOWER MANJURIAN
Ingredients
for marination
cauliflower - 1kg
chilli powder - 1tsp
channa dal powder -1/2 cup
salt to taste
cornflower powder -1tsp
riceflower if available - 1tsp
for gravy
big onions - 2-3
green capsicum - 1
red capsicum -1
1 bunch spring onions
green chillies(finely sliced) - 5-6
gralic (finely sliced) - 4-5 cloves
soya sauce - 4 tbls spoon
a pinch of ajino motto
white pepper to taste
salt to taste
cutting options
cut the onion and capcisum in big piecies like in four halfs and seperate the onions
spring onions should be finely chopped
so as to garlic, green chillies finelly chopped to look better u can cut it in an angle...
Preparation Method
in a bowl mix the channa dal powder, cornflower powder, riceflower powder, chillie powder and salt using either milk or water. now cut the cauliflower into smaller flower and marinate in the batter. after about half hour deep fry in oil making sure tat the culiflower is well coverd by the batter
in another pan heat some oil and fry the gralic, green chillie till aroma comes out and then add onions,capsicum, a little bit of spring onions... stir fry all of it till cooked... then add some water and add the soya sauce, ajino motto, salt and white pepper. let boil till the veges are cooked. after about 15 mins on med add the fried cauliflower to the gravy now to make the gravy thick, add 2tbls spoons of cornflower powder in water and pour into the boiling gravy.
simmer for five mins
garnish with spring onions
serve with fried rice
