Ingredients
Onion - 2 nos
(sliced lengthwise)
Red chillies(Kollamulaku) - 4 nos
Black gram(Uzhunnuparippu) - 1/2 tsp
Bengal gram(Kadalaparippu) - 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves - 2 - 3 tbsp or as reqd
Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1/2 tsp
Salt - As reqd
Oil - 4 - 5 tbsp
Water - 1 cup
Preparation Method
1)Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
2)Add the balck gram, Bengal gram, sliced onions, red chillies and jeera.
3)Add salt.
4)Continue to saute.
5)Add more oil, if it is too dry.
6)Once the onions are soft and brown, put in a blender.
7)Add the coriander leaves and water.
8)Grind it to a fine consistency.
:- Serve with dosa or idli.
