    Rava Kesari Recipe

    Ingredients

    Semolina(Sooji/Rava) - 1 kg
    Ghee - 1/2 cup
    Milk - 1/2 litre
    Sugar - 1 kg
    Color(yellow) - 1/2 tsp
    Raisins(Onakkamunthiri) - 100 gm
    Cardamom(Elakka) - 10 nos
    (powdered)
    White sugar crystals(Kalkkandam) -100 gm

    Preparation Method

    1)Fry rava and ghee, till it become crisp and slight brown.

    2)Once done, add milk and sugar and mix well till all the milk gets evaporated.

    3)Add the rest of the ingredients to it and and spread it on a buttered plate in 1/2 inch thick.

    4)Once the mixture cools down, cut the mix in small diamond shapes.

    5)Decorate each diamond with a cashewnut.
