A man has been treated in hospital after his light aircraft crashed in a field in Devon.The plane, which came down near Ridgey Croft, Newton Abbot, at about 1535 BST on Saturday, is believed to have suffered engine failure, police said.
The pilot, a 59-year-old man from Bristol, was the only person on board. He suffered suspected spinal injuries and a broken arm.
His condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
