A 47-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder by detectives investigating the disappearance of an Essex woman nearly 10 years ago.Mother-of-two Nicola Ray, 29, was last seen when she left a friend's house in Basildon after a night out in the early hours of 2 May 2000.
In February 2001 a man aged 38 was arrested on suspicion of her murder but was later released without charge.
Police are searching Ms Ray's former home in Voysey Gardens in Basildon.
