    Fire station evacuated in alert


    There is a security alert in Belfast city centre.Central fire station on Ormeau Avenue has been evacuated after a telephone caller claimed a device had been left at it.

    Fourteen fire officers left the station and were moved to another one. Part of Ormeau Avenue has been cordoned off.

    There are no further details.
