    Ding Junhui romped into the second round of the World Championship with a 10-1 victory over Stuart Pettman.China's Ding needed just two frames of the second session to finish the job and will now play either 2005 champion Shaun Murphy or Gerard Greene.

    Ding is bidding to become the first world champion from outside the British Isles since Cliff Thorburn in 1980.

    England's Mark Davis led Wales' Ryan Day 5-4 overnight and they play to a finish on Wednesday morning.
