    Oil worker hurt by electric shock


    An oil worker has been airlifted to hospital after suffering an electric shock on an offshore platform.The man was injured on the Dunlin platform, north east of Shetland at about 1650 BST.

    As a result of the incident, power to the rig was cut off for a short time and prompted the crews on board to prepare for evacuation.

    A colleague who witnessed the incident was also taken to Lerwick Hospital, suffering from shock.
