    Parties campaign through holiday

It may be May bank holiday but there is no let up in general election campaigning by the four main political parties in Wales.Labour Foreign Secretary David Miliband will be supporting candidates in north Wales while ex-Lib Dem leader Paddy Ashdown is in Powys and Ceredigion.

Meanwhile, Plaid Cymru will stage simultaneous rallies in Llanelli and on Anglesey.

The Conservatives are continuing to campaign across Wales.

David Miliband, will spend the day in the Vale of Clwyd, Delyn and Wrexham campaigning alongside Labour candidates Chris Ruane, David Hanson and Ian Lucas.

He will go on walkabouts in Prestatyn and Rhyl before going door knocking in Wrexham.

For the Liberal Democrats, Lord Ashdown, himself a former Royal Marine, will first meet ex-service men and women in Brecon, Powys before travelling on to Aberystwyth to take questions from students and the public.

Later, he will also be campaigning in Wrexham in a question and answer session at Glyndwr University in Wrexham.

With just four days to go before people go to the polls, Plaid supporters and politicians will take part in simultaneous rallies on Anglesey and in Wrexham.

Party leader Ieuan Wyn Jones and former leader Dafydd Wigley will be among those at the rally in Beaumaris on Anglesey, while Plaid MEP Jill Evans and Plaid's director of elections Helen Mary Jones will be at the Town Hall Square event in Llanelli. This article is from the BBC News website. ?
