Gordon Brown has said he does not back tactical voting and wants people to "vote Labour", while the Lib Dems called it "desperate" and David Cameron said it showed voting Lib Dem could keep Mr Brown as PM.
While polls continue to point towards a hung parliament or a small Conservative majority, it is thought millions of voters are yet to make their mind up and some may even change their mind in the voting booth.
