    Youth held over schoolboy death


    A teenager has been arrested in connection with the death of a schoolboy in East Kilbride.The body of 16-year-old Jack Frew was discovered in woodland in the Mossneuk area of the town on Thursday.

    Strathclyde Police said a 17-year-old male was in police custody in connection with the case.

    A report is being sent to the procurator fiscal and the teenager is expected to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday.
