
Police who arrested a Dorset nursery worker over allegations of child sexual abuse say no further action will be taken.The unnamed worker from the Down in the Woods nursery in Merley was arrested on Sunday and bailed.
Dorset Police said the arrested woman has been released from bail and the investigation concluded.
Police said there are no safeguarding issues at the nursery, which will reopen on Wednesday.
Speaking at a police news conference, Supt Sara Glenn said of the arrested woman: "Our concern now is to make sure that her support and welfare is cared for. We have officers making sure she is well looked after."
Down in the Woods had been closed for two days and meetings were held with concerned parents.
Police said the allegation did not relate to any incident at the nursery.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: "The police decision is that no further action will be taken and that that the person arrested has therefore been released from any bail requirements.
"We have consulted with Ofsted and the nursery shall be resuming normal practice as from tomorrow.
