A 19-year-old man has had part of his ear bitten off in an assault in Newry.
The man was walking with friends on the Belfast Road in the early hours of Sunday when a car pulled up alongside him.
A man got out and attacked him before escaping in the same vehicle. Details of the victim's current condition have not yet been released.
Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the attack to get in touch with them as soon as possible.
