    84-year-old pedestrian is killed

    13 December 2010 Last updated at 01:47 ET An 84-year-old man has died after being hit by a car in County Fermanagh.

    The victim was struck as he was walking along the Killartry Road in Brookeborough - the main road between Enniskillen and Belfast.

    The accident happened shortly after 1830 GMT on Sunday evening. Police are not treating it as a hit and run.

    The dead man's name has not yet been released. The Killartry Road has now been reopened.
