A woman has died after being attacked by a dog at a property in south London, police have said.
The victim, who was aged in her 40s, suffered "multiple injuries" during the attack on Thursday evening in Wallington.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, a Metropolitan Police spokesperson said..
The dog - a Belgian Mastiff - was shot dead by police, who also removed a puppy from the property. The victim's next of kin have yet to be informed.
The Met spokesperson said paramedics and officers found the woman "suffering from multiple dog attack injuries" at 2057 GMT on Thursday.
One other person was in the property at the time of the attack but was not injured.
