The landslide in the Narino region was triggered by heavy rains
At least 12 people have been killed in a landslide in south-western Colombia, local officials say.
Nearly 30 people were injured after tonnes of mud buried five homes and a bar in the town of La Cruz in Narino province.
Rescue teams are sifting through the debris amid reports that several people may still be missing.
Hundreds of people have been evacuated from the area. The landslide was triggered by heavy rains.
Thursday's tragedy was the second major deadly landslide this month in Colombia.
On 5 December, more than 30 people were killed in a mudslide near the city of Medellin.
The extreme weather in the region is attributed to the La Nina climatic phenomenon, which is caused by colder than usual water currents along the Pacific coast.
