Flooding continues to bring disruption to parts of Wales after more heavy rain fell on already saturated ground overnight.
There are currently four flood warnings and 20 flood alerts in place throughout Wales.
The A474 at Briton Ferry, Neath Port Talbot and the A487 at Machynlleth, Powys, are closed.
Swansea and London-bound trains are experiencing severe delays due to flooding at Bristol Parkway station.
Water in the Chipping Sodbury tunnel has led to the closure of the line between Bristol Parkway and Swindon, meaning First Great Western trains between London Paddington and Swansea are being diverted via Bath Spa.
Those travelling along this route should expect short-notice cancellations and delays of up to 30 minutes.
Passengers from Swansea and Cardiff can still travel to London but anyone wishing to go to Bristol Parkway will have to travel via bus, getting off at Filton Abbey Wood rail station.
Services to London which start at Cardiff Central are operating on an hourly basis instead of a half hourly basis and diverting to Filton.
Operator First Great Western said engineers are working "as fast as possible" to restore services to normal.
The 07:58 BST Swansea to Paddington service, the 08.15 Paddington to Cardiff Central and the 09.15 Paddington to Cardiff Central have been cancelled.
The Environment Agency (EA) has flood warnings in place at the River Ely at St Fagans and Peterston super Ely, Cardiff, the River Ritec at Tenby, Pembrokeshire and the River Teifi at Lampeter and Llanybyther.
Blocked drain On Thursday night firefighters were called to pump out water from streets and properties after nine calls in the Pontypridd area and around five or six to the Pontygwindy area of Caerphilly.
A spokesman for South Wales fire service said they pumped out water at Llantwit Road, from under the bridge near the University of Glamorgan.
They also helped with a blocked storm drain near the Asda store at Caerphilly with help from local authority staff.
Most calls came between 21.00 and 22.30 GMT.
A stretch of the A487 at Machynlleth also remains closed in both directions from Machynlleth, by Ysgol Bro Dyfi (Machynlleth Comprehensive School), to Glandyfi.
It is not known when the road is expected to re-open and signposted diversions are in place.
The A487 Dyfi Bridge is also closed in both directions due to flooding between Ffordd Mynydd Griffiths and the A493.
In Neath Port Talbot the A474 is shut in both directions due to flooding between Westbourne Road/ Morgan's Road and Ynysymaerdy Road (Lodge Cross). A diversion is in place via Old Road.
Localised flooding is also affecting the B4265 near Llantwit Major in the Vale of Glamorgan and had led to the closure of the Michaelson level crossing at St Fagans, near Cardiff.
Although more showers are predicted on Friday, the weather is expected to improve with rain easing off overnight.
The problems have come because the ground is already soaked after December's snow and several days of heavy rainfall.
