    Concern for missing diabetic girl

22 January 2011 Last updated at 07:15 ET Police have said they are increasingly concerned about the welfare of a 13-year-old girl with diabetes who has gone missing.

Alisha Yarnell-Stone was last seen in the Church Marshes area of Sittingbourne at 1620 GMT on Friday.

Kent Police said officers and her parents were very concerned because of her age and the fact that she had not taken insulin since Friday morning.

Alisha is white, about 5ft 6in tall and has shoulder-length dark brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a burgundy school blazer, a white blouse, black skirt, black flat shoes and a black scarf.

Kent Police said officers had carried out an extensive search of the Church Marshes area.
