South Wales Police are appealing for information about a missing DVLA worker in Swansea.
James Spillane, 26, from Morriston, was last seen at work on Tuesday 18 January.
It is believed he was in the area until at least Thursday when he may have caught a train out of the city.
His disappearance is "completely out of character" and his family and friends are "desperate to have him home safe and well", police said.
Mr Spillane is 6 ft (1.82m) tall, slim and fit looking, with short. cropped brown hair. He has piercings in both ears.
It is not known what he was wearing when he went missing, but he usually wears jeans, police said.

He left without his mobile phone or car keys.
Insp Chris O'Brien said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for James who has been missing since Tuesday and would appeal for anyone with information to contact us.
Since Mr Spillane was reported missing, police have carried out extensive enquiries with search teams in and around the Morriston area, and they continue to check CCTV for possible sightings.
His family are being kept fully informed.
Insp O'Brien added "I would urge anyone with information on James, no matter how insignificant it seems, to contact us.
"If you have seen James since Tuesday please ring us, we are especially eager find out if he caught a train."
