A man and a woman have been found dead at a house in Liverpool.
Police found the bodies when they were called to the house in Banbury Avenue, Halewood, by a member of the public at about 1140 GMT.
The woman is believed to be in her 50s and the man in his 20s, but neither have yet been formally identified.
Merseyside Police said it appeared both had suffered knife injuries and the deaths were being treated as unexplained.
The house has been sealed off to allow forensic officers to investigate and enquiries are ongoing in the area.
A post-mortem examination is due to take place on Tuesday.
