A North Sea oil installation has been shut down after partly breaking loose of its anchorage in rough seas.
The floating production, storage and offloading unit, Gryphon Alpha - operated by Maersk about 175 miles north east of Aberdeen - has 114 people on board.
Four of its 10 anchor chains were found to have failed during Friday morning.
The bad weather has prevented the down manning of non-essential personnel from the Gryphon Alpha.
Tugs have been scrambled to assist.
Aberdeen Coastguard has confirmed that three helicopters are enroute to the Gryphon A to take about 60 non essential personnel off the vessel.
They will be taken to nearby platforms.
A Bond helicopter from Sumburgh, the Shetland Coastguard helicopter, and an RAF Sea King from Lossiemouth, are all expected to arrive at the scene at about 1400 GMT.
