Four children who went missing from their home in Ardee, in County Louth, on Thursday have been located safe and well in Newcastle, County Down according to Irish police.
A 30-year-old man and a woman have been arrested and are currently assisting the PSNI with their enquiries.
A search operation to locate the children included police forces in Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, and England as well as Interpol.
It is understood the four children and their mother moved from West Sussex to the Ardee area in December 2010.
