A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of 22-year-old Sian O'Callaghan.
Christopher Halliwell, 47, appeared before Swindon magistrates, accused of killing Miss O'Callaghan, whose body was found near Uffington, Oxfordshire.
She had not been seen since leaving a nightclub in Swindon on 19 March.
Mr Halliwell, of Ashbury Avenue, Swindon, was remanded in custody to appear before Bristol Crown Court on 30 March.
He spoke only to confirm his name, age and address.
