Football Worldcup Brazil 2014- Guide to teams, players and details
2014 football wordcup , now hours away to start in Brazil. Fans and soccergoers around the world are readying to embrace this event that happen once in every four years. World cup is returining to South America after 1978 which was won by Argentina. Amidst of protests and strikes and worry about getting stadiums ready for inauguration and first match, Brazil is singing the samba rhythms once again loud. Hope we will have a brilliant world cup...

Many probably wont have much ideas about who is playing except the top teams like Brazil, Argentina, Spain, Germany, England etc. So i would give you an idea about how many teams, who they are and how they play etc. There are 32 teams already in Brazil ready to play from from June 12th to July 13(the final). But not all those team can play in that final-
. Teams are divided into 8 groups ( A-G) , each containing 4 teams. In group stages , they will play each other, winner getting 3 point and draw will get 1 point each and 2 teams from each group will qualify into knockout stages - prequarter or last 16, then there another loosing 8 teams will be eliminated, which makes 8 teams to play in quarter-final stage. Again 4 teams will go out and 4 will play in semi-final and after 2 best teams who will get through to Final of worldcup on 13th July in Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro. So lets get to know each teams...
1. Brazil :- Qaulified as host nation - but even if they had to play qualification round, surebet to be there. Winners in 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994 and 2002, but it is the 1970 triumph that inspires the most impassioned tributes. Birthplace of legend Pele.
Familiar faces:- Julio Cesar (QPR), David Luiz (Chelsea), Oscar (Chelsea), Ramires (Chelsea), Paulinho (Tottenham Hotspur), Willian (Chelsea), Fernandinho (Manchester City), if you follow english premier league football and Neymar (Barcelona), Thiago Silva (Paris Saints German).
Manager/Coach :- Luiz Felipe Scolari, back for his second stint as Brazil manager.

Players to Watch - Neymar, Hulk Fred - strikers; Thiago Silva(considered as one of top defenders in world today), David Luiz, Marcelo, Dani Alves -defenders; Gustavo, Oscar, Willain- Midfielders. Neymar tipped to be in fight for Goldenboot (top scorer).

With the benefit of playing at home, Brazil team is on top spot to win this 2014 worldcup. Lets watch and wait.
2. Argentina :- One of the most favourited teams in the world and at them same not living upto expectations in recent worldcup. After 1990 Argentinians havent made past quarter-final stage. Last won world cup in 1986 and also won when worldcup last hosted in SouthAmerica (at home). Home to Diego Maradona , another magical football legend, Argentina go to every worldcup with wiining expectations. Led by this time, Lionel Messi, widely related very closely to Maradona's talent.
Familiar Faces:- Lionel Messi (Barcelona), Pablo Zabaleta (Manchester City), Sergio Agüero (Manchester City), Gonzalo Higuaín(Napoli), Ricardo Álvarez(Intermilan) etc.
Manager:- Alejandro Sabella- long-term right-hand of Daniel Passarella.

Players to Watch:- Messi- considered often world's best player and 4 time world's best player award, but many times criticised for not performing for national team in comparison to his club record, Sergio Aguero- English club Manchester city's main forward and top scorer and played big role in their two premier league title wins.

With Lionel Messi vowed to do everything he can to win this worldcup to fans, Argentina once again boarded their flight with great expectations. Many fans and player legends including Maradona is hoping for a Brazil-Argentina final. Lets hope for it.
3.Germany :- Coach Joachim Löw is bringing his team for this worldcup with plenty of talents in that 23 man squad. With most of the players are of Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund- the top 2 of German football league, Bundesligia, the team can play with ease knowing each other well.
Familiar Faces:- Miroslav Klose(Lazio) Per Mertesacker (Arsenal), André Schürrle (Chelsea), Mesut Özil (Arsenal), Lukas Podolski (Arsenal), Bastian Schweinsteiger(Bayern Munich), Philipp Lahm(Bayern Munich). If you have been following UEFA champions league, those names in 23 are mostly familiar due the fact that most of the clubs they are from play in that league of Champions clubs of Europe.
Manager/Coach :- Joachim Löw is managing the national side since 2006, so 2nd worldcup in row.

Players to Watch :- Thomas Muller (Forward), Mezut Ozil(Midfielder), Miroslav Klose (Striker)- all time topscorer for Germany is heading to his 4th worldcup, Manuel Nuer(Goalkeeper)

4. Spain :- Last worldcup (2010) and Euro 2012 winners are heading to Brazil with aim to repeat their triump in South Africa. Veteran playmakers, Xavi and Iniesta and Striker Davia Villa etc are hoping to end their worldcup career at high winning once more. With lots of talents at disposal , Vicente del Bosque's men has some real chance this time too. With addtion of Diego Costa into the forward lineup, the mostly Barcelona and Real Madrid team mates are in plenty of match-winners.

Familiar Faces:- Juan Mata (Manchester United), Santi Cazorla (Arsenal), David Silva (Manchester City), Fernando Torres (Chelsea), Iker Casillas(Real Madrid), Xavi Hernández(Barcelona), Sergio Ramos(Real Madrid), Andrés Iniesta(Barcelona).
Manager/Coach:- Vicente del Bosque is leading spain into 2nd consecutive worldcups after winning in 2010 and Euoro 2012.
Players to Watch:- Diego Costa(Striker) - 36 goals this ended season for Atletico Madrid, the Spanish striker is in form of his life, Fernando Torres(Striker)- former Liverpool striker hasnt been great since his departure to Chelsea football club, but has been in good form for national side always.

5. Netherlands :- Having come close to kissing the cup 3 times (1974, 1978 and 2010), the orange group still remains the rare team to miss out the worldcup.Even during the golden times of Johan cruyff, Marco Van Basten or Frank Rijkaard, they couldnt win it, but came closer in '74 and '78 finals. The current sqaud coached by Luis Vaan Gal is almost same as from 2010 loosing side who had great chance and was tipped to win then, still has some strenth for an another long run in this world cup.

Familiar Faces:- Robin van Persie (Manchester United), Tim Krul (Newcastle United), Ron Vlaar (Aston Villa), Wesley Sneijder(Galatasaray), Arjen Robben(Bayern Munich) .
Manager/Coach :- Louis van Gaal's second turn as national coach is going well as the team eased through qualification, as first attempt ended up in disasterous failure to qualify. Also signed as new Manchester United manager just before wordlcup, this big guy is considered as Manager to watch.
Players to Watch :- Arjen Robben (Midfielder) - with great dribbling skills and striking ability from outsode box, Robben is a threat to any team, Robin Van Persie- Player of Manchester United had disappointing season with long injury break is captaining his national side, Weslye Sneidjer- great former playmaker of Intermilan.
