Ambala, Apr 16 (PTI) Indian women''s hockey team captain Surinder Kaur has got engaged to one Nitin Sabharwal, who had also played the game at the Inter-University level. The ring ceremony of Surinder and Nitin, the son of a senior hockey coach and an M Phil in Physical Education, was solemnised two days ago.
Even though she got engaged, the Arjuna awardee would enter into the wedlock only after the Commonwealth Games to be held in Delhi from October 3-14. "The marriage would be solemnised in November only after the Commonwealth Games.
The date would be decided by both the families after the Commonwealth Games, Surinder''s would be father-in-law Prem Nath said.
