* Inter have won their last five Champions League games, hitting a high point with home and away victories against Chelsea in the knockout round and CSKA Moscow in the quarter-finals. They have conceded just one goal in those five games.
* Barcelona are unbeaten away in the Champions League for the past two seasons, a run of 11 matches -- though they have drawn seven of the last eight.
* Barcelona are unbeaten in their last seven games against Italian clubs and have lost just one of eight away games in Milan against either Inter or AC.
* Lionel Messi has scored 17 goals in his 21 starts in this and last season's Champions League. He finished top scorer last season with nine and leads this season's scoring charts with eight.
