Chennai, Apr 19 (PTI) World professional billiards champion Pankaj Advani and Asian Games snooker gold medallist Rafat Habib would be seen in action in the two day Karnataka-Tamil Nadu Inter-state prize money tournament to be played from April 21. Advani, who recently won the Asian Billiards title for the record third time, has confirmed his participation in the event which includes Billiards, Snooker and Pool Games, a release from Tamil Nadu Billiards and Snooker Association said.
Teams for each of these cue sport events would be decided by the respective captains, Pankaj Advani and Rafat Habib, Nadeem Ahmed, organising secretary of the tournament said. "We do hope that we will succeed in making the event an annual affair between the two states.
Advani will lead the Karanataka team while Habib Tamil Nadu," Ahmed said. There was no restriction on a cueist figuring in both Billiards and Snooker or all the three events.
