Elin in talks with divorce lawyers, could cost Tiger $600 mn

Golfer Tiger Woods' estranged wife Elin is holding "round the clock" discussions with lawyers regarding her divorce, which could cost Woods anywhere between USD 500 million to USD 600 million.

Elin Nordegren Woods has been in "round-the-clock" conversations with a battery of lawyers - both in her native Stockholm and in the United States, where she actually would file for divorce, the Chicago SunTimes quoted a source close to Elin as saying.

"Supposedly, the Woods divorce settlement would fall into the USD 500 million to USD 600 million range.

"Elin Woods supposedly is concerned about locking-in specific times where she can live in Sweden with the couple's two children," the paper said.

According to the source, Elin is mostly concerned about protecting her two kids' financial interests.

A book that Elin read about how the children of a wealthy man from his first marriage did not get their share of inheritance, while their father's second wife ended up with the lion's share of the money, has her especially worried.

She's really obsessed with that book," the source said adding that the book is Empress Bianca, a novel that reportedly is a "thinly veiled fictionalisation of international socialite Lily Safra, written by Princess Diana biographer Lady Colin Campbell".

Woods' wife is also said to be serious about buying a home in Arizona since the home she currently shares with Tiger in Windemere, Florida has become "a place that has way too many unhappy memories for her".

Reports of Elin wanting to divorce her golfer husband surfaced after Woods' affairs with a number of women came to light.
