Olympic gold medallist Abhinav Bindra on Saturday managed a lowly sixth place in the first trial of the 10 m Air Rifle in the Commonwealth Games Shooting Trials at the Shiv Chhatrapati Sports City in Balewadi.
Gagan Narang won the round with a score of 594-50x while Khan Imran Hasan came in second with a score of 594-45x. Rakesh Manpat came in third with a score of 592-42x.
In the 25m Centre Pistol event, Vijay Kumar came first with a score of 590-26x while Samaresh Jung came in second with 585-20x. Harpreet Singh came in third with 585-18x.
In the 25m Pistol Junior event, Shivraj Sase came first with a score of 565-9x, Ruchit Kapadia came in second with 563-9x and Gaurav Kumar Pilaniya came in third with a score of 558-5x.
