    Stoner to leave Ducati at end of season

    Enlarge PhotoDucati MotoGP rider Casey Stoner of Australia takes a curve during the first free practice... Australian Casey Stoner will leave Ducati at the end of the season, the Italian MotoGP team announced on Friday.

    "Ducati would like to thank Casey Stoner, who has decided to undertake a new challenge, with gratitude and affection that will always remain," Ducati said in a statement on their website (www.ducati.com).

    The former world champion is now expected to join Honda.
