Patna, Sep 17 (PTI) Senior Congress leader Ajay Kumar Singh and Chhattisgarh MP Saroj Pandey MP were unanimously elected as chairman and president of the Women''s Football Federation of India (WFFI) at its special general body meeting here today. Krishna Singh (Bihar) and Shekh Mohammad Javed (Chhattisgarh) were also elected general secretary and treasurer respectively, Ajay Kumar told reporters.
The officials were elected for a term of four years (2010-2015). Federation''s AGM members from across the country, including Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar were present in the general body meeting, he said.
Ajay Kumar said the AGM decided to conduct several tournaments, including Senior National Championship at Chhattisgarh in November and Federation Cup at Ara (Bihar) in December, besides organising a national coaching camp at Itanagar in April 2011.
