    Australian And Kenyan Teams arrive in New Delhi

    New Delhi, September 26 (ANI):Contingents from Australia and Kenya for the Commonwealth Games arrived in New Delhi on Sunday.Their presence has lent a fillip to this mega event since controversies over accommodation;shoddy construction and security fears had spelt doubts over the participation of many teams.

    Though unfortunately,several leading Kenyan athletes including the defending 800 metres champion Janeth Jepkosgei,world 800 meters record holder David Rudisha and others have pulled out, but the Kenyan officials said they would send a 240-strong team for the Games after receiving foolproof assurances about security from New Delhi.
