The Pune football season for 2010-11 is set to kick off on Monday, with the inaugural tournament, the Late Major K P Jadhav Memorial Trophy beginning under the banner of the Poona District Football Association.
The tournament will be conducted by the Vincentian Old Boys' Association, and will feature two separate events, one for the Super and First Division teams of the PDFA, and the other for the Second and Third Division.
The matches of the former group will take place at the St. Vincent's High School Ground from 3.30 pm onwards, while the latter will be conducted at the Range Hills Ground, Kirkee from 1 pm onwards on a daily basis.
The tournament, for which 60 teams from the Second and Third Divisions and 30 from the Super and First Division have confirmed their participation, will conclude on October 18.
