New Delhi, Sep 28 (PTI) Keeping in mind of the fitness of newly-crowned world wrestling champion Sushil Kumar, Delhi Kushti Sangh today felicitated the wrestler with 100 buffaloes, 100kg desi ghee and 100kg almonds. "He is our champion, country''s pride.
We want him to win the gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics. He will remain healthy and fresh drinking buffaloes'' milk," senior vice-president of the association Pradeep Jain said.
"Wrestling involves healthy nutrition. Fresh almonds and ghee will cater to his daily needs.
We have also given him some cash award and the entire felicitation worth about Rs 7 lakh," Jain said. Former Delhi chief minister Madan Lal Khurana and senior BJP leader Rajnath Singh also attended the function held in Chandni Chowk.
