    Orissa emerge winners in U-16, U-12 tennis meet

    Sambalpur, Oct 21 (PTI) Shakti Ray and Tanmayee Patnaik of Orissa emerged victorious in the U-16 boys and girls tennis tournament played here today. In the U-12 boys'' section, Avilash Mishra of Orissa emerged as champion while Tanmayee Patnaik of the home state won the girls'' section.

    In the doubles final as well Shakti Ray and Avilash Mishra of Orissa emerged champions. The four-day AITA talent series concluded here today.

    Altogether 58 boys and girls from Orissa, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar, Maharashtra, Chhatisgarh and Gujarat participated in the events.
