    India lose 21-41 to China in handball

    Guangzhou, Nov 13 (PTI) India gave a tough fight to China in the first half but lost steam in the second session to lose 21-41 in the Group A preliminary round handball match in the Asian Games here today. India scored 12 goals as against 19 by their stronger opponents in the first session but could only net nine to China''s 22 in the second half to go down tamely on the first day of the competition.

    For India, Prasad Jain scored maximum goals of six followed by Sachin Chaudhary who netted four. India play Qatar in their second group match tomorrow.
